Flash CS4
Finally a new release of Flash with great new features that make it worth the price to upgrade! The great thing about CS4 is that it has so many great features for artists and animators!
Here is a small list of new features:
- New way to animate using paths and the motion editor are incredible!
- You can lengthen or shorten animation easily just by grabbing and scaling the timeline.
- Save animations as "motion presets" that you can re-use and apply to other symbols!
- 3D tool that uses perspective to rotate symbols in a perspective view.
- Bones/Inverse Kinematics. Although this seems like it would simplify Character Animation, the Bones tool still needs a lot of work before it will be truly useful. But I applaud Adobe for trying to implement this logical feature.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, there is so much more to the program now. I've been pretty un-impressed in the past with previous releases of Flash, but in my opinion, this release of Flash is the new standard that everyone should have! Get it as soon as you can!
Advanced Flash Tutorials
