Are Flash Animation Packs difficult to use?
No, Flash Animation Packs are easy to use! Each animation is contained in a 'Graphic' symbol, so you can easily scale each animation up or down, or flip it horizontally, just by altering one symbol! You can also copy and paste the animated symbols into other .fla Flash files and the animations will play instantly.
What type of files are included with each Flash Animation Pack?
With each character you'll receive the regular Flash Character Pack .fla file (see images below), the "PLUS" pack .fla file that contains the pre-animated side view walk cycle, and a .fla file that contains all of the animated gestures as 'graphic' symbols.
You'll also receive each animation in .swf format that can be played in the Flash Player. Two different versions of each animation have been provided in .swf format. The first set of .swf's animates into the posed gesture and then holds indefinitely on the pose. The second set of .swf's animates into the posed gesture and holds for a few seconds and then animates back into the neutral starting pose.
Included in each Flash character pack: front, side and back views with pre-animated eyeblinks as well as 7 different mouth positions perfect for animating to dialogue.
"One of my clients has had a cool vision for her eLearning projects and it involves avatars - the digital characters/cartoons that help lead your learners through the training.
I've done quite a bit of it in the past, but it always adds to the cost because I hire an illustrator/cartoonist to develop my characters. Whenever I hire out, it costs me and the clients more money. Men, women, kids, animals, plus backgrounds and props, all in the same toony "style". And, when you buy, you get the .fla file with all the embedded mouth and hand positions so you can drop them right into your project.
90% of my stuff is build in Flash so this was a perfect fit. While designed for Flash cartoons, I found them to be a perfect fit for these new eLearning projects.
